WASHINGTON, D.C. – Whitmer & Worrall today announced that Corry Marshall has joined the firm as Principal and will be leading the Energy Practice. Marshall brings over 17 years of legislative and management experience from Capitol Hill and the government affairs department of a large trade association.

Most recently, Marshall served as Chief of Staff to Congressman Bob Gibbs from Ohio. As Chief of Staff, he oversaw the Congressman’s congressional operations and supported his role as Chairman of the Water Resources and Environment Subcommittee on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. Prior to that role, Marshall held positions in the government affairs department at the American Public Power Association (APPA) and in the office of Pennsylvania Congresswoman Melissa Hart. While at APPA he worked on issues surrounding hydropower, federal power programs, smart grid, energy markets and environmental regulations.

From his time on Capitol Hill, Marshall has developed a strong track record of successfully navigating the legislative process, specializing particularly in transportation & infrastructure, telecom, technology, energy, environment and appropriations issues.
