Lindsay Bencick, Staff Assistant

Lindsay BencickLindsay Bencick serves as Staff Assistant at Whitmer & Worrall and is a key member for planning and executing client initiatives. She assists with client communications, servicing, and is regularly interfacing with clients on advancing their key legislative priorities. Ms. Bencick covers and reports on congressional and political issues, assists in the coordination of Washington, D.C. client visits, conducts business development outreach, manages administrative operations, and supervises the firm’s internship program.

Ms. Bencick’s political experience includes an internship with the Friends Committee on National Legislation (FCNL), where she gained valuable experience in both communications and advocacy. Throughout the duration of her internship, Ms. Bencick drafted organizational briefs on legislative issues related to FCNL’s advocacy priorities, cultivated content for the organization’s social media accounts, attended Congressional meetings on domestic and international issues, and assisted with the composition of newsletters, online articles, and other organizational publications. Ms. Bencick also collected and reformatted archived content for the organization’s 75th anniversary, and designed and implemented a social media training program for staff.

Ms. Bencick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Politics & International Affairs from Furman University in South Carolina. As a student at Furman, she participated in the university’s chapter of Save the Children Action Network. Ms. Bencick is a member of the Women’s Transportation Seminar International as well as the Society of Virginia. A proud native of Little Rock, Arkansas, she now resides in Arlington, Virginia.
